I was not expecting much coming from eating Vancouver sushi but this restaurant surprised me on how good the Sushi is! I highly recommend the Stanley Park Roll.

Can't say it was the best Japanese I've had but it was okay. For being in Fort Mac I thought it was pretty decent. I ordered :
Agedashi tofu - highly recommended
2 handcones - really yummy although they looked pretty bad
Bento box - the teriyaki beef with caramelized onions was delicious. Tempura was not good as the batter was too thick. Sushi was okay, nothing special. -

Stopped in for lunch and it was nicely decorated and very quiet. I had the fried tofu, chicken salad wrap and pork gyozas which were al steaming hot and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place.

Possibly the worst sushi of my life.
And, I have know and have worked with Japanese Chefs, so I know something about what I am saying.
I have seen vendor sushi that was made with greater skill and understanding than what I was served.
Just a hint, nigiri should be a delicate "finger" of rice upon which the fish is placed.
Not a futomaki of just rice with badly minced tuna stuffed onto it. -

Myself and my 6 yr old daughter went in for supper on A Friday. They had a reservation table of about 20 and they were working so hard to accommodate everyone including the reservation table. They were so apologetic for the slow wait times but worked their butts off to get the food out as fast as they could. Great work! Love this place!
